UK grants funding for UXO operations in Laos
MAG Laos has been granted more than 38 billion kip (US$4.5 million) in funding from the United Kingdom government for its unexploded ordnance (UXO) operations in Laos.
With the grant, MAG will conduct UXO clearance for 13 months in the districts of Nonghet, Khoun and Phaxay in Xieng Khuang province along with UXO clearance, a non-technical survey and mine risk education in Bualapha and Yommalath districts of Khammuan province.
